Membership

Although our club has historical links to Colfes school, we are an open club and everyone in our community is welcome to join us as a player, volunteer or supporter.

To join OCRFC you will first need to register with the RFU and then be linked to our club. This is done using the RFU’s Game Management System (GMS) and instructions on how to do this can be found when selecting your category from the table below.  Once registered you can then proceed to purchasing club membership

We have two types of memberships available:


Player Membership

To play at Old Colfeians RFC  the following things need to be in place:

  • Be registered with the RFU
  • Be registered with OCRFC
  • Be a fully paid member


CLUB benefits of Player membership:

  • access to training pitches and qualified coaches
  • weekly training sessions for the season (Sept. – May)
  • paid-for player registration for all festivals and tournaments.
  • use of all training equipment
  • invitation to subsidised club events


RFU benefits of Player membership:

RFU Membership also provides insurance cover under the RFU policy, the details of which can be found on the RFU Website http://englandrugbyinsurance.co.uk/players.
This policy is also displayed on the club notice board or can be supplied as a hard copy on request.

ADULT Player Monthly Subscription * includes Social £20 p/month
Not currently available through GMS

         

ADULT Player (Over 18’s STUDENT) – Annual £95
per year

 This membership only runs for one year and is renewed each season.

     

YOUTH Player (Minis, Juniors, Colts & Girls)Annual £95
per year

 This membership only runs for one year and is renewed each season.


* Discounts are available for Multi-player families and are applied automatically to your basket when you check out.


 

Non-Player Memberships

Non-Player Memberships are for anything other than playing, such as becoming a Social Member or entering our 200 club lottery.

Volunteers are also classed as Non-Players. However, whilst no actual Membership is required, volunteers MUST still officially register with the club via GMS.

(Of course, joining as a social member and/or entering the 200 club is always greatly appreciated especially when there are good discounts up for grabs if bought at the same time as a child’s player membership!)

Social Memberships

Volunteers, Parents and Friends can support OC’s by purchasing either of the following items and great savings can be made when purchasing at the same time as a child’s player membership.

Simply log in to your GMS profile when you are set up , add to your basket and checkout to set up a direct debit mandate.

Gift Aid – How you can help our Club?

Old Colfeians RFC is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). This gives us tax benefits similar to those for charities, including Gift Aid.

For every £1 donation you give us, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC.

If you are a higher rate taxpayer higher rate taxpayer, you can also benefit from tax relief!  You simply claim the difference between the higher rate of tax and the basic rate of tax at 20 per cent, on the total value of the donation on your annual self assessment tax return.

Data Policy
