Hi everyone
I would like to wish all the members, players, parent’s, coaches and managers a very happy time over the festive holiday period hopefully you will be able to make the most of a very difficult situation which hopefully next year will improve for us all.
As you are aware currently, we have cancelled all training and matches across all the age groups, hopefully we will be able to get our younger age groups back in the New Year as under the government regulations under 18 controlled team sport is allowed, but we have no idea when the adults will be able to play again. The effects of being in tier 4 on the community around the club can be seen by us all particularly with the number of cases still rising.
Obviously, the effect on the finances has been difficult to manage with no social events, little income over the bar or from hire of the premises. But we are managing thanks to the efforts of many people who volunteer to make sure the club survives.
As soon as we can arrange lunches, presentation dinners, social events, etc. we will but most importantly we want to get back to playing rugby.
