The Crimsons U15s hosted Old Alleynians today. We warmed up as usual with all the Crimsons before moving onto a joint training session with our U13s and OAs. Once training had ended the age groups split.
As both U15s teams were short of numbers, the decision was made to play a game of sevens. The majority of our U15s are new to rugby this season so this format was new to them.
The girls played a good game with some good runs, excellent tackling, competitive rucks and – for some of the girls – maiden tries.
The team worked exceptionally well as a team and the score line does not reflect the closeness of the game.
The final score was Crimsons 25 – Old Alleynians – 45
