U16’s
A final run out for the U16s at the Kent 7s on Sunday 27th….onto GCSEs for these boys now
U14’s
The under 14s organised a warm up 7s competition at Brocks last Wednesday for five local teams. After a slow start the boys pulled out a powerful performance in the final and picked up our first trophy of the season.
Then in the Kent 7s on the 27th we came up against a strong Tunbridge Wells side in the first match narrowly losing 17-12 before winning four games on the bounce. We met an another leaague 1 side in the next round losing to Sevenoaks in the next round. Heading to the Vase final we put in our best performance of the day proved too strong for Southwark Tigers: winning 42 – 12.

U15’s
Final friendly match for this year’s U15s on Sunday 27th against Westcombe Park at Brocks. Some great rugby for everyone (& in particular those that haven’t played much in the Kent league this season) gave us a 43-19 win in the glorious sunshine! Great prep for tour next weekend 💪.
Colts
The Colts had a good day at the Kent 7s. Drawn against the overall winners, Canterbury, in their first game they started with a loss but went unbeaten for the rest of the day to reach the Bowl final where they came up against old rivals Beckenham who ran out as the winners. All with 9 players and an U16 stepping in. Great end to the season and a farewell to our U18s as they head off into A levels.
U15’s
Despite having a number of players unavailable the U15s gave a creditable performance at the Kent 7s at Folkestone, drawing one, winning one and losing three. We could have won our first match but conceded a last minute try and with it the draw. We then lost to Bromley who went all the way to the Bowl final and to Tunbridge Wells who reached the semi final of the main competition. We beat Folkestone comfortably in the afternoon knockout stage then lost our final game to Gravesend. We saw some excellent individual performances in games and our win in the knockout stage earned us a trophy to bring home to HP.
