After defeat down at Chichester redemption was needed at the Costa Del Colfes. A few selection changes, slight drizzle and last minute pitch pampering we were ready to roll. There were even whispers of needing to call Martin Davey for a one liner…
An excellent start and great bouts of play, a special mention goes out to Luke Hawkins on debut who played excellently & even got himself a yellow card (he will fit in at OC’s well). 9, 10, 15 & 14 decided to mix it up a bit and keep the opponents guessing with their constant switch of positions showing just how versatile we are. Respect to Chichester for a formidable performance despite the score line. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
This week Trev goes home with another fan favourite who eluded the hat trick but scored two very good tries. Word has it he needs to learn to chop a pint as fast as he runs but I can confirm he prefers rum to lager.
