ALL RUGBY POSTPONED

empty

Dear OCRFC members.

Following instructions received today from the RFU and our Constituent body Kent Rugby, we confirm that sadly all rugby activity in England, at both professional and Community level has now been suspended and is effective from 17 March until 14 April subject to continued review.

Rugby at Horn Park is therefore suspended until further notice.

Full Details on the RFU Website can be found here:

What happens to results/league etc.?

It is currently unclear how the season will officially draw to a close regarding league and cup results across the whole club. Kent will continue to monitor events and are considering options such as postponement into the last weeks of the season or first weeks of September. However, as there are so many variables we need to be patient and await their advice and instructions.

Are Tours still happening?

The decision to suspend all rugby activities until further notice will undoubtedly affect all sections who were planning on touring this season and we are liaising with the tour companies as things progress and your respective Chairman will update you accordingly.

This is not something any of us wanted but please stay safe, follow the governments guidelines and we hope to update you soon.

Chairman of Old Colfeians Rugby Club
