The Spartans! 6 played in either the ones or two’s with two along to support on Saturday. George Newins scored for the first team, Quba scored two tries for the firsts, Chris had a good day with the boot and Ethan Collins put in a shift as always in the backrow for the firsts. Victor scored a brace for the seconds and David put in a good performance as a sub in the second half for the two’s. Tom Walker is recovering from shoulder damage but hopes to return later in the season and big Sam is still studying at Bristol to become a doctor, however still plays locally and has ambitions to return to Colfeians in the future when he is fully qualified. Mention also to Charlie Boylan, another graduate, who would have been playing had he not unfortunately organised a holiday. Poor planning!
