Sunday 13 September saw the start of our Crimsons’ fixtures for the season. After what had felt like forever, a handful of U15s were finally now able to join with the U18s to make a really strong squad!
We played at home against Beckenham in a 10-a-side game. We were off to a strong start within just a few minutes with some great handling and a sprint to score from Prosper. That was then followed by seven other players also getting on the score sheet across the match of which Natalie converted three.
Beckenham came back in the 2nd half with some great handling and tying up our defence before moving it out wide and scoring.
The game ended 50-7, the Crimsons too strong for the travelling side, but Beckenham kept their heads held high and never gave up.
Our player of the match went to Paulina who showed some great contact work and made the right decisions when to move the ball or carry. Really looking forward to seeing her continued improvement across the season.
An excellent game overall from all of the players.
