With no game on the website many had been planning to spent an enjoyable Saturday at Bluewater.
Instead Sidcup 2s away appeared on the fixture card (not the website). After some running around we had a full 15 and the game was on. A 2pm drop out led to OCs starting with 14 men.
First half was a dominant OCs performance built round solid defence and hard graft from the forwards. Tries from new found tight head Jordan and Jango both from rollin mauls saw OCs lead 10-6 at halftime.
Sidcup came out for the 2nd half with a bit more agression and new more expansive game plan. With the extra man they were able to capitalise on a tiring OCs team.
Highlight of the second half was the brothers Gardner using Seb Williams as a bartering ram for AG to score from a meter out.
All in all a good performance from the team against a very strong side. Mentions for Matt Beaver, Jango (mom) and Euan playing at 9.
