empty

Today saw another win for the Crimsons U18s, in a Kent league game against Old Alleynians.

Although we were without a few of our regular players we put in a great performance.  The game started with a quick try from Natalie who then went on to convert 7-0.

Some lovely dancing feet from Juliet led to the ball being spun out wide to Prosper who ran down the touch line from the half way and jogged in the second try for the Crimsons which Natalie converted 14-0.

The third score came from a great track back all the way to 5m out by Lara, a few turnovers happened for both teams in our 22m but then we got the upper hand with a huge run all the way by Lara to score under the sticks. 21-0.

At around the 15 minute mark, OAs scored managed to get their first score after some great offloading play and converted.  21-7

The Crimsons next score came from a lovely run and offload from Aimee to Juliet who offloaded to Natalie to score in the corner. The conversion was unsuccessful. 26-7.

A few minutes later, Gift ran up the wing, followed by some great feet from Maria swerving in and out of the defence. The ball was moved to Natalie who offloaded and then it went down to score. Natalie converted 31-7.

OAS got themselves back into the game and spotted a gap in the defensive line which they flooded through and scored. The kick was successful. 31-14.

Lara made a solo run and dotted down for her second of the game 38-14.

2nd half:  OAs answered back and started the second half well by scoring through their quickest player but didn’t convert. 38-19.

The Crimsons built some phases from a scrum and Chelsea found a small gap in the visitors’ defence and offloaded to Lara who dotted down to score her third. Conversion unsuccessful 43-19.

Another great try-saving tackle from Lara who bundled the opposition into touch. The Crimsons managed to get the ball back and Lara got them out of their 22 with a big kick up towards the halfway line. But OAs ran in their 4th through the same girl – try was converted 43- 26.

After a few phases from OAs after kick-off, Prosper intercepted a pass, pinned her ears back and then managed to offload to Natalie who jogged it in. Conversion unsuccessful. 48-26

OAs score through the number 10 again! And the kick went over. 48-33

The final score of the game came from a lovely move from the scrum between Lara and Natalie to see Lara drift over again! Conversion unsuccessful and final score 53-33 .
