ALL group Rugby Activity is currently suspended at Horn Park until further notice.
Following the recent Parliamentary vote in favour of national lockdown proposals aimed at curbing the increase in Covid-19 cases in England, the Government has announced the cessation of all community team sports during the period of Thursday 5th November to Wednesday 5th December,
Therefore the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap has sadly been updated to show a return to Stage A. This applies to Age Grade and Adult rugby activities below Championship and Premier 15s meaning no competitive or formal rugby activities can be undertaken.
What does this mean for OC’s?
Sadly, this means that there is no training at Horn Park:
However, while group training sessions are banned, a maximum of two players can participate in socially distanced (two metres plus), individual training sessions outside without sharing equipment.
We will advise on this in due course when the committee has had a chance to digest the implications and what might be accessible.
We hope that the wonderful momentum that was being felt at the club in recent months is held on to by everyone, and we look forward to updating you on our return as soon as we can.
As always, if anyone needs to reach out for advice, help or just for a friendly chat, the club spirit is always open, so keep in contact with each other, follow the clubs twitter @ColfesRugby and facebook pages to stay part of whats going on.
Checklists for when we return
We have left our Checklist section available here so that we can remind ourselves of what we are all required to do when we are given the go ahead to get back to Rugby.
