Renew YOUTH Player Affiliation & Membership

Each season all YOUTH players are required to carry out the following 2 steps.

The same steps apply to New joining players.

STEP 1 – Affiliate the player with Old Colfeians RFC.

STEP 2 – Renew/Purchase Club Membership

Both steps are carried out using GMS (The RFU’s Game Management System)

This is best carried out on a desktop using Chrome. It can also be done on a mobile device but the layout may be different to the one explained below.

Before you start, log in to your Parent GMS account and check that you can see everyone in your family on your GMS dashboard.

This will ensure everything works properly and also ensures you qualify for Sibling and Parent social membership discounts, as the final transaction must be made from the parent profile that is linked to all the players.  If your children are split across two parents then use the ‘Add player’ option to assign all your players to one parent account and proceed with your order from within that profile. If you have any problems then please email before you carry on and we will help.

STEP 1 – Affiliate Player to our club

  • Log in to your PARENT GMS account
  • From your dashboard select your child’s name
  • Click ‘Renew Player Affiliation’ from either the green area * or from the ‘My Organisations’ area.
  • Check the existing details, amend if necessary using the pencil or + icon then SAVE to complete affiliation.
  • Repeat the process for any siblings
  • Be sure to also action an items in the RED ‘to action’ box and ensure there are green ticks against the consent declarations.

* If there is no green box showing, click on the action icon in the top right hand corner next to the word ‘Edit’

STEP 2 – Renew/Purchase Club Membership

In the ‘My Organisations’ area of your parent dashboard select ‘Buy Membership’

You can now select each players name and add the relevant membership to your basket.

(If you are not returned to your dashboard after registration, click your profile image in the top right hand corner)

Instalments: If you find paying in one lump sum difficult then please contact your Team Manager to see if we can help set up instalments instead.

Financial Assistance: We also have a club Bursary fund which is available to assist with membership fees
should you feel this may be of assistance. If so, please fill in our Financial Assistance form and send it to your Team Manager.  (Team Manager details can be found on each age groups page). The form can also which can also be found in the ‘Other info area’ of our Policies and Documents page

What other memberships and items can I add to my basket?

There are 2 optional parent/supporter memberships outlined below which make a big financial difference to how we provide rugby for our players and our community.

By adding them to your basket you help:

  • keep player subs as low as possible
  • help subsidise membership for kids who can’t otherwise access rugby
  • cover costs for visiting teams match day food
  • ongoing maintenance and regeneration work on and off the pitch
  • Work within the local community
  • funding even bigger projects such as our club renovations
  • as well as the continuing support of our 1st team

Both schemes can be purchased by over 18’s only via GMS from your Parent profile

NOTE: There is NO need to repurchase if you have already set up a Direct Debit previously.

Select ‘Online Card’ to use Credit Card
Select ‘Direct Debit’ to use Debit card (the full payment will then be taken directly from your bank as a one off payment)

Note 1:  If you are adding Social or 200 club memberships to your basket you will need to pay for everything using ‘Direct Debit’ and set up a Direct Debit Mandate.    The first payment taken will be for the full total (Player memberships, social, 200 club kit etc.) but then will revert to just monthly payments for social or 200 club for subsequent months.

Note 2: Depending on what date you are checking out, if you have added Social or 200 club memberships it may show a quantity of 2 and enter double the price. Don’t worry, this is normal if you are checking out in the middle of the month as the system will take a payment for this month and the next. It will then revert to just 1 payment going forward.
