YCRFC Membership
Membership details
All players are required to become a member of the OCRFC to continue playing at the club. The attached membership form requires completing by the parent or guardian of the child. We request that all sections are filled in, including any relevant medical history, school and contact details. This ensures that we can fulfil our duty of care to your child and that we are following our child welfare responsibilities. These forms must be filled out at the beginning of every season and returned to your team manager.
The benefits of membership are; Full RFU insurance, access to training pitches, qualified coaches, regular training sessions, use of all training equipment, invitation to club events, club shop and paid player registration to all festivals and tournaments.
Each player is also required to fill out an RFU Young player registration form. Please supply 2 passport sized photographs with the completed form and either return them to our Membership and Registration secretary (cjames292929@hotmail.co.uk) or to your team manager. This form must be completed by all players whether they have played and registered at a previous club, this is their 1st club or there is a data change. Without registration there is no insurance cover. Full insurance details are displayed on the notice board at the club or can be supplied as a hard copy on request. It can also be viewed on the RFU website.
The Data collected by the club through its membership form is used for no commercial purposes either from OCRFC or any 3rd party. We will use your email address as a method of communication of fixtures or events concerning your team or the club.
We aim to keep our subscription rates at a reasonable level to enable everyone to become a member and therefore to make a positive contribution to YOUR club. We are also able to make a reduction for siblings, please contact your team manager or either section chairman for more details (see www.ocrfc.co.uk/contactus.php).
RFU Young player registration form
We at Old Colfeians welcome everyone to their club. We run teams from U7 to the Vets (and those who would rather not discuss their age!), for the serious to the once a year "social" player".
We try to keep membership costs low to ensure that as many young people as possible can belong to the club. In fact, membership subscriptions at OCRFC are considerably lower than at most other rugby clubs. As with all clubs we rely heavily upon membership subscriptions to continue to make the club a success.
