Triathlon boys make a comeback

A trio of players are set to make their comeback to OC's pre-season training this week after some mixed results in the London Triathlon.

Senior squad members Sam Boulton, Gareth & David Lewis are due to return to training this week after missing several sessions due to competing in the London Triathlon. Lewis D and Boulton are in high spirits after recording a joint Old Colfeian best time of 2hrs 42mins 43s. Lewis G, however, is looking for a much needed confidence boost after scraping home in over 3 hours. The senior of the brothers had previously gone on record as saying "I'll do it but I don't like swimming" and his dislike of the first leg was bourne out. In an interview with fellow "rugby player", D. Rogers, Lewis was quoted as saying "I hated the whole thing from 30 seconds into the event." His anguish was compounded when a severe bout of buttock cramp set in after leaving the water. A record 6mins 43sec was recorded for Lewis to have a bit of a lie down and get on his bike.
